Owner and founder of Gold Ocean Studio; Sara is a self-taught artist. Tattooing professionally since 2013, she specializes in Illustrative realism, fine line, and soft black/grey tattoos. Sara loves tattooing flowers, faces, animals, nature, script and ornamental backgrounds, but also tattoos color upon request.
Coming from an extensive background of fashion Sara also enjoys dabbling in photography, primarily candid portraits. As a wife, mother and dog enthusiast Sara has an incredibly strong work ethic and faith to the tattoo culture and strives to produce the most custom artwork for her clients and their tattoos.

Jimi is from Seoul Korea, where she has been trained and was tattooing in Busan. She specializes in traditional Japanese tattoos in full Colour and Black/Grey, but also loves to create neotraditional tattoos. She's been tattooing since 2011, with an extensive art background. She also enjoys colour realism and loves large scale tattoos. Her passion for art is undeniable and is always taking her tattoo skills to the next level.

Over the years Brooke has become a multidisciplinary artist, exploring and perfecting many art mediums. She attended the University of Saskatoon and the University of Alberta for fine arts and eventually took her knowledge into her own studio practice. Brooke coexisted with a collective of artists at an art gallery off of Alberta avenue called the STUDIO. Here she hosted social events, wine and paint nights, art shows, and gallery openings, and still teaches art upon request. Brooke explored the broader art community in Edmonton where she was introduced to tattooing in 2017.
Brooke has been attending tattoo conventions and guest spots both locally and internationally. She loves to tattoo portraits and enjoys the fine details. She isn’t afraid to take on unfinished projects, and loves to make people feel confident again with cover-ups!

Cas is a self taught artist who draws inspiration from many animations throughout her childhood. She began her apprenticeship in 2018 at Gold Ocean Studio under her mentor Jimi.
She enjoys watercolour, acrylic, ink art and animal portraits. Her favourite things to tattoo would be hayao miyazaki art style, flowers and witchy themes. She continues to level her skill and create very custom pieces for her clients as well as flash pieces.

Sara is a self-taught artist and began her artistic journey with an interest in the Impressionist movement as well as digital art.

Lauren is an artist at Gold Ocean Studios Leduc location that began her apprenticeship under Sara Kim Terrero in August of 2022.
Having a passion for art since she was young, she graduated from the Fine Arts diploma program at MacEwan right after high school in the spring of 2022. As the baby of the shop, she is excited to continue learning and start practicing new techniques and styles on real skin as she begins to bring in clients.
Lauren is most excited to pursue work in traditional, illustrative, and possibly realism, but is interested in exploring other styles to create versatility in herself as an artist. When she’s not at the shop, Lauren is usually spending quality time with her cats while she sketches out flash sheets.

Audrey is an artist that began her tattoo journey as a self-taught artist in October 2022. From there she gained an apprenticeship in March 2023, and joined Gold Ocean Studio as a junior artist in May 2023.
Audrey has a large selection of flash which takes inspiration from cyber-tribal and ignorant tattoos. She would love to take your idea and translate it into her style, she loves taking any symmetrical custom and making gap fillers around pre existing tattoos. Audrey always strives for a safe space for her clients, and hopes they can walk away with a pleasant experience along with a tattoo they will cherish forever!
Along with passion for tattooing, Audrey has also been trained in hip hop dance for 10 years, and when she’s not at the studio she’s usually at the other studio- the dance studio!

Skye is a Jr.Artist at Gold Ocean Studios Leduc location, she is mentored by Sara Kim Terrero. She has been at this location since September 2023.
She has aspired to be a tattoo artist since she was young and has always been involved in all the arts she could try, she graduated from MacEwan University’s Fine arts program in the spring of 2022. She loves to take her approach to Traditional American designs and create unique but ‘true to the style’ pieces. She is always willing to try designing different styles as well to push her versatility as an artist.
Skye has always been involved with the arts, from pottery to crochet to nail design. She will try any type of art at least once and probably fall in love with it. She has also danced competitively since she was two, she loves all dance styles but Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Ballet, were her absolute favourites. She continues her passion of all dance styles as a teacher currently teaching all ages. When she isn’t at either studios she is at home cuddling her 5 cats and rewatching her favourite sitcoms!
Tattooing since 2021, my passion for art has been a lifelong journey since childhood. Sketching anything that came to mind back then laid the foundation for my creative path. Now, my focus is expanding within tattooing, with a keen interest in perfecting colored tattoos, black and grey designs, and micro-realism.
